Farato is a small village composed of about 50 families. There is no electricity and water is a mile's walk away. There is little sanitation in the simple houses are made of home-made clay bricks and tin roofs. Rice is a diet mainstay with the rare addition of fish or meat.

Farato benefits from a stong community of hard working people. All parents dream of a brighter future for their children
