| Future for Farato supports a mini loan program. To date, 50 village women have taken small loans ($30 ea) to begin small businesses. These modest endeavors enable the women to earn some spending money for school supplies and clothing for their children. Loans are consistently being repaid so that we can continue to extend loans to others. Many women sell produce while others smoke fish for sale at the market.
Their children must be as proud as we are of them.
